The Fresh Market prefers previous management experience in the retail, grocery, deli, hospitality, or restaurant industry.
The ideal Assistant Deli Manager Job candidate must have demonstrated excellent communication and leadership skills and possess basic math skills for ordering and inventory.
The knowledge of deli products (deli meats, sandwiches, cheese, rotisserie, and prep foods) is preferred. The Fresh Market will require demonstrated strong merchandising and multi-tasking skills.
The ideal Assistant Deli Manager Job candidate must be highly motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment at all times with all levels of employees.
Demonstrated excellent people skills are required for all positions within The Fresh Market. The job requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire work day and the ability
to lift, stack and maneuver objects. Weekend, evening and holiday work will be required in the position. Minimum age for employment is 18.
